Fachkongress Holzenergie 2026 (Congress Centrum Würzburg, Germany)

On September 29–30 2026, HoSt Thermal Technology will be at the Fachkongress Holzenergie in the Congress Centrum Würzburg, presenting alongside Bright Renewables. Our own Markus Schranzer will join Ivan Derkink for a talk on “Versorgungssicherheit und Defossilisierung durch Bioenergie: KWK-Contracting und CO₂-Nutzung in der Praxis” (Security of supply and defossilisation through bioenergy: CHP contracting and CO2 utilisation in practice).

Effective. | Wood energy with a future), the congress is the leading event for the German wood energy market. For 25 years it has served as a key indicator of market developments and a platform for shaping future trends, bringing together around 250 professionals from industry, energy supply, municipalities, science and politics. This year’s program covers digital and AI-driven heating systems, hydrogen from biomass, integrated energy systems, and the policy frameworks shaping the sector’s future.
