Brown-bin waste is source-separated household organic waste. It digests well but arrives mixed with packaging and other contaminants that have to be removed first.
How HoSt handles brown bin waste
HoSt removes plastics, packaging, sand and grit upstream, and the HoSt Filter Basket protects downstream equipment, so only digestible material reaches the tank. Sanitation meets animal by-product rules, so the digestate can be reused.

Biomethane for grid injection or bio-CNG for collection fleets, biofertiliser, compost from the solid fraction, and food-grade bio-CO2 from upgrading.
