Green gas from manure
Local biogas and biomethane production at a dairy farm in Koudum – located in the northern Friesland region of the Netherlands. The biogas plant, a Microferm, produces biomethane from manure via anaerobic digestion and biogas upgrading. The biogas upgrading system produces up to 40 Nm3/hr of biomethane with an efficiency of 99,5%.

Project realization
This project was realized with Jumpstart, an initiative of FrieslandCampina. This initiative facilitates dairy farmers who want to realize a mono-manure digester plant on their farms. The biogas facility provided by HoSt is a turnkey biogas plant, with a short construction time of only nine months.
