LIGNA 2023 (DE)
HoSt is exhibiting at the LIGNA in Hannover, Germany, from May 15-19, 2023. HoSt invites you to join us at this leading event, where we will be showcasing our HoSt Energy as a Service offers and our turnkey highly efficient combustion plants: biomass boilers, wood boilers, biomass-fired cogeneration plants, waste boilers, and waste-fired cogeneration plants. The HoSt team is looking forward to meeting you at our stand J06 in hall 25.
LIGNA is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the latest advancements in the wood industry. Additionally, discover how HoSt can help you achieve your sustainability goals. Whether you’re looking for a turnkey combustion plant or if you’re searching for renewable heat from sustainable biomass in the most economically profitable way, HoSt can help you find your ideal solution. Be sure to speak to the HoSt team and schedule a meeting in advance!
HoSt Combustion Plants
HoSt’s thermal technology derives renewable energy from firing biomass and waste. The industrial boiler technology range from 8 MWt to 25 MWt boiler capacity to produce renewable heat. To produce renewable electricity our technology range from 1 to 10 MWe boiler capacity. These systems are designed to convert biomass waste into clean, renewable energy. The renewable energy can be used to heat and/or power homes, businesses, and entire communities.
HoSt offers a total biomass boiler solution for the production of steam, hot water and electricity from organic waste streams. Due to optimal combustion control, our installations can run on a very low surplus of air which increases the overall efficiency. Together with a flue gas condenser an overall efficiency on a lower heating value of 130% can be realized. A high electrical efficiency is achieved due to the unique water tube boiler design: steam parameters up to 480°C and 90 bar can be produced leading to a very high electrical efficiency. Even the strictest emission limits can be achieved with the HoSt flue gas cleaning system. Additionally, HoSt combustion plants are easy to operate and highly efficient, thanks to a high degree of automation and development. By utilizing wood waste as fuel, companies can reduce their disposal costs while generating their heat and power on-site.
HoSt Energy as a Service
Within the service model Heat as a Service, part of Energy as a Service, HoSt finances, owns, and operates the biomass- or biowaste-fired boiler/CHP delivering you sustainable heat in the most profitable way. With this service model, HoSt will provide you with sustainable energy: ranging from hot water to high-pressure steam, but also the additional direct delivery of sustainable electricity is possible with a CHP system. Sustainable heat delivered by HoSt is used to power for example district heating systems, greenhouses, the food industry, or the chemical industry.
Heat as a Service is your ideal solution when you’re searching for renewable heat derived from sustainable biomass in the most economically profitable way without investing in or operating a facility yourself. As HoSt ensures the development, permitting, financing, and construction of a biomass-fired boiler or CHP as well as owning- and operating the system. The renewable heat and power will make your company less dependent on fossil fuels and will reduce your CO₂-tax and/or EU-ETS cost. With HoSt Heat as a Service, the company does not require an economic investment in the biomass- and waste-fired boiler plant, yet the company still reaps the benefit of sustainable heat and electricity: reducing your dependence on expensive and volatile fossil fuels and reducing your carbon emissions.
LIGNA
LIGNA attracts exhibitors from around the globe, who display their newest products, services, and technologies. In addition to being the world’s leading trade fair for wood processing, LIGNA provides a variety of seminars, interesting speakers, and ample networking opportunities with HoSt and other industry professionals. With seven display categories, divided over nine halls, LIGNA serves as a world summit for suppliers in the primary and secondary wood industries. The exhibition occurs from May 15 to 19 in Messegelände in Hannover, Germany. Be sure to join and meet the HoSt team at stand J06 in hall 25 or schedule a meeting in advance.
