Low-grade wood waste as fuel
HoSt hot water boiler plants have a large range of fuel versatility. And are capable of handling wood particles of up to 35 cm with varying moisture contents from 10% to 60%. Even fuels with a low ash melting point or high chlorine or sulfur content can be utilized.

We engineer our boiler plant designs in-house, prioritizing peak efficiency and reliability. Carbon capture technology is easily integrable for gaseous or liquid bioCO2 as extra end-product, cleaner flue gases, and a more efficient process.

Middenmeer hot water boiler plant
A large number of greenhouses at in Middenmeer, Netherlands are sustainably heated by the 19.6 MWth hot water boiler plant, turn-key built by HoSt. The 15 MWth fire tube hot water boiler, in combination with the flue gas condenser, delivers a total of 19.6 MWth and ensures an efficiency of no less than 118%. Thanks to advanced cleaning techniques, the vertically placed boiler achieves an availability of >96.5%. The bag house filter reaches dust emissions as low as <5mg/Nm3.
