Digestate
Digestate is the nutrient-rich material that remains after organic feedstock, such as manure, food waste, or crop residues, has been broken down in an anaerobic digestion process to produce biogas. It contains the nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium originally present in the feedstock and is commonly processed into a biological or organic fertilizer for use on agricultural land.
