Why we build and operate our own installations
At HoSt Bioenergy, our industry knowledge and foundation enable us to operate our own biogas and boiler installations successfully. This approach allows us to demonstrate our capabilities in sustainable energy production directly.
Building and operating our own biogas plants also provides us with the opportunity to measure real-time data, enabling us to optimize the products continuously. It enables us to innovate quickly and thoroughly test these innovations before bringing them to market. This wealth of data not only enhances our operational efficiency but also allows us to deliver data-driven solutions to our clients, ensuring they receive the most efficient and effective biogas technology available.

Total household energy impact
At HoSt Bioenergy, our installations collectively produce significant amounts of green gas, heat, electricity, and CO2, showcasing our capability in sustainable energy production. Our total green gas production amounts to 14,640,000 nm³ annually, equivalent to 146.4 GWh of energy, which can power approximately 48,800 households for a year. Additionally, we generate 8,000 tons of liquid CO2 annually from the WABICO installation.
In terms of heat production, our installations produce a total of 200 GWh of heat annually, enough to provide heating for about 16,000 households. Furthermore, our electricity production totals 60 GWh annually, which can supply power to around 20,000 households.
Overall, the combined output of our green gas, heat, and electricity production is capable of supporting the energy needs of around 84,800 households each year.

Our goals
Operating our own renewable energy facilities highlights our expertise and showcases our success in the sustainable energy sector.
