Own to operate

Curious about why and how we manage to supply green heat and electricity to nearly 100,000 households each year? Currently, we own and operate X biogas plants, X boiler plants and X biogas upgrading facilities. Let’s have a closer look at our motivations for doing so.

Total household energy impact

At HoSt Bioenergy, our installations collectively produce significant amounts of green gas, heat, electricity, and CO2, showcasing our capability in sustainable energy production. Our total green gas production amounts to 14,640,000 nm³ annually, equivalent to 146.4 GWh of energy, which can power approximately 48,800 households for a year. Additionally, we generate 8,000 tons of liquid CO2 annually from the WABICO installation.

In terms of heat production, our installations produce a total of 200 GWh of heat annually, enough to provide heating for about 16,000 households. Furthermore, our electricity production totals 60 GWh annually, which can supply power to around 20,000 households.

Overall, the combined output of our green gas, heat, and electricity production is capable of supporting the energy needs of around 84,800 households each year.
