A biogas plant is relevant for arable and mixed farms that want to convert crop residues, energy crops, grass, and manure into renewable energy and biofertiliser. HoSt’s organic residues and manure biogas plants digest this mixed feedstock on-farm, producing biogas for a CHP unit or biomethane for grid injection. The digestate returns to the land as a nutrient-rich biofertiliser, closing the nutrient loop and adding a revenue stream alongside the core farming activity.
